Factory Party | Silkscreen Like Warhol

  • 548 West 28th Street New York (map)

Warhol Factory Party

Over 50 years ago, Warhol opened the first location of his Factory, and for the next 2 decades it became the place in New York City where artists, actresses, socialites and free thinkers would gather to collaborate, trade ideas, make art and have a good time. For the Warhol Factory Party, ArtsClub will re-create Warhol’s studio vibes and celebrate the creativity that took place there. You’ll be able to make your own silkscreen prints, dress up, dance and paint the night away!

Who's this for?

This experience is perfect for anyone who wants to tap into their creativity, try something new and meet people who share their love of art. The July 11th party is reserved for young professionals (under 40). The July 12 Party is open to all.

What you need to bring

  • Dress up like Warhol, his muses or his friends! Choose from characters like Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Kennedy and Eddie Sedwick!

  • Enthusiasm & an open mind

What ArtsClub will provide:

  • Silkscreening stations - to make your own Warhol prints, including Jackie, Flowers, and Self-Portrait (Fright Wig)

  • Painting stations - to paint Warhol-inspired designs

  • Live music

  • Late night Burger King - so you can “Eat Like Andy”

  • Open bar of beer, wine, CBD infused cocktails by Recess, and alcoholic fruit pops by FrutaPOP

Where we'll party

We’ll be partying at Laurance Rassin’s Warhol-themed pop up gallery in Chelsea, which will be decked out in his Warhol-inspired original pop art.
