Warhol Factory Party
Allow us to take you back in time to The Factory, Andy Warhol’s New York City studio and a hip haven for creativity. A place where artists, actresses, socialites and free thinkers would gather to trade ideas, collaborate, make art have a good time! We’ll be recreating the party at Laurance Rassin’s Warhol themed pop-up gallery in Chelsea, where you’ll get to make your own silkscreen prints (with a demo from one of Warhol’s original studio assistants, Ken Brooks), drink, dress up, dance and color the night away!
Tickets include art materials 🎨and open bar 🍺Sponsored by FrutaPop.
Silkscreening Stations - to make your own Warhol-inspired prints
“I think it would be so great if more people took up silk screens so that no one would know whether my picture was mine or somebody else’s”
- Andy Warhol in an interview with Gene Swenson, Art News (1963)
Learn to silk screen with Warhol’s former studio assistant, Ken Brooks and leave the evening with your own Warhol inspired print on canvas.
