Create a cut-paper collage like Henri Matisse!

Henri Matisse's later years were marked by his innovative "cut-outs," a technique where he painted gouache on paper, then cut and arranged these pieces into bold, abstract compositions. In our workshop, you will immerse yourself in Matisse's world, learning about his approach to color and form. You'll experiment with your own gouache paintings, cutting and assembling them to create vibrant, Matisse-inspired artworks.

Ticket includes lesson, all art materials (gouache, water color paper for painting and cutting, and 11x14 in. paper to apply collage to) and aprons/smocks/coveralls to wear while making art.
